Lo sgombero durato poco più di un mese (novembre e dicembre) di tutti i villaggi nella foresta di Dannenrod, che, per numero di occupanti e per la complessità delle barricate costruite, sembrava quasi cosa impossibile, ha dimostrato che gli sbirri hanno fatto notevoli progressi nelle loro strategie; ma rimane fattuale come il numero delle foreste occupate in germania e in europa stia via via crescendo, e questo è sicuramente fonte di preoccupazione per l’apparato repressivo tedesco. Sembra quindi che gli sbirri, intimoriti che questi nuovi focolai possano consolidarsi, stiano al momento puntando allo sgombero delle occupazioni più piccole e al momento meno organizzate.
L’occupazione di Flensburg, che contava pochi alberi dentro l’omonima città è stata sgomberata in questi giorni per fare spazio ad un nuovo hotel. Giovedí 18 Febbraio è arrivato l’avviso che lo sgombero sarebbe stato rimandato per via del coronavirus, ma il giorno seguente gli scagnozzi dell’azienda incaricata di costruire l’hotel si sono presentati, tagliando uno strato importante della corteccia degli alberi occupati, cosí da ucciderli
senza doverli direttamente abbattere loro. La polizia in questo frangente sostiene di non essere stata in grado di fermarli, e il giorno seguente si è presentata a sgomberare gli alberi occupati dicendo che ormai il lavoro era iniziato e bisognava finirlo. Sembra quindi ci fosse un possibile accordo tra gli sbirri e chi vuole costruire l’hotel.
Per l’occupazione della foresta di Halle (vicino ad Hambach) invece, l’inizio dello sgombero era previsto per lunedì 22 febbraio, anche se al momento gli sbirri non si sono ancora palesati. In questa foresta per resistere vi sono solo piattaforme, dal momento che gli occupanti non hanno avuto tempo di costruire delle vere e proprie case sugli alberi.
Facendo un bilancio della stagione di taglio di quest’anno (ottobre-febbraio), l’apparato sbirresco ha usato moltissime risorse per sgomberare le foreste di Dannenrod, Herren e Maulbach che rientravano nel progetto di costruzione del tratto di autostrada A49, per poi passare agli obbiettivi secondari sopra citati, allo scopo propedeutico di fermare le nuove occupazioni sul nascere.
Importante ricordare che comunque al momento a Dannenrod qualcunx sta ancora resistendo, anche se i villaggi e le barricate costruite prima di ottobre, ovvero prima dell’inizio della stagione di taglio, sono ormai perduti.
Il capitalismo necessita sempre più di espandersi devastando quel poco che rimane di selvatico. Le piccole sacche di resistenza, soprattutto legate ad un discorso ecologista, si moltiplicano. Davanti al costante evolversi dell’apparato repressivo in termini strategici e soprattutto tecnologici, sta a noi riuscire a inventare delle sempre nuove modalità difensive efficaci per la difesa di questi spazi, sfruttando anche quelle che possono essere delle reti di solidarietà che vadano oltre ai confini strettamente statuali, per poi passare al contrattacco.

Reflections on cop strategy in occupied forests in Germany
The eviction that lasted just over a month (November and December) of all the villages in the Dannenrod forest, that for the number of the occupants and the complexity of the barricades built, seemed almost impossible, showed that the cops have made considerable progress in their strategies; but it remains factual how the number of occupied forests in Germany and in Europe is gradually increasing, and this is certainly a source of concern for the German repressive apparatus. Therefore, it seems that the cops, fearful that these new hotbeds may consolidate, are currently aiming at the eviction of smaller and less organized occupations.
The occupation of Flensburg, which consisted of only a few trees inside the city that has the same name, has been evicted in these days in order to make space for a new hotel. On Thursday February 18th the notice arrived that the evacuation would be postponed because of the corona virus, but the next day, the henchmen of the company in charge of building the hotel, showed up cutting a large layer of the bark of the occupied trees in order to kill them without having to cut them down themselves. The police at this juncture claimed that they hadn’t been able to stop them, and the following day they came to evict the occupied trees, saying that by now the work had begun and had to be finished. So it seems that there was a possible agreement between the cops and those who want to build the hotel.
For the occupation of the forest of Halle (near Hambach) however, the beginning of the evacuation was scheduled for Monday, February 22nd, although at the moment the cops haven’t appeared yet. In this forest there are only platforms to resist, since the occupants did not have enough time to build actual tree-houses.
Taking stock of this year’s logging season (October-February), the police apparatus used a lot of resources to clear the forests of Dannenrod, Herren and Maulbach, which were part of the construction project of the A49 freeway section, and then moved on to the secondary objectives mentioned above, with the propaedeutic purpose of stopping new occupations in the bud.
It is important to remember that at the moment in Dannenrod someone is still resisting, even if the villages and the barricades built before October, that is before the beginning of the cutting season, are now lost.
Capitalism increasingly needs to expand, devastating what little remains of the wild. The small pockets of resistance, above all linked to an ecological discourse, are multiplying. In front of the constant evolution of the repressive system, in strategic and technological terms, it is up to us to invent new effective defensive methods to defend these spaces, also by harnessing what can be networks of solidarity that go beyond the strictly state boundaries, and then go on the counterattack.
