Osterholz resiste! Lützerath resiste!
La protezione del clima è un lavoro da fare manualmente!

Immaginate che ci sia una cosiddetta “elezione
per il clima” e che nessuno dei partiti abbia un programma con il
quale si possa raggiungere l’obiettivo prefissato a Parigi di scendere di 1,5 gradi centigradi. Questo è esattamente quello che sta succedendo. Siccome non abbiamo niente di
buono da aspettarci da questo circo politico che si terrà a Berlino in
relazione alla questione del clima, dobbiamo rimanere fedeli al fatto
che la difesa del clima è un lavoro da fare manualmente!
Il capitalismo sta distruggendo i nostri mezzi di sussistenza. Sia
perché la logica del profitto vuole a causa del suo carico eccessivo
sacrificare le foreste, sia perché espropria le case di intere
comunità, di villaggi per poi scavare e prendere la lignite. I
pagliacci politici a Düsseldorf, Berlino e altrove parlano di
protezione del clima, ma nel frattempo la distruzione continua. Quello
che esce dai parlamenti è “troppo poco, troppo tardi”. Questo non
dovrebbe sorprendere nessuno, perché i partiti non ammetterebbero mai
di dover abbandonare il capitalismo per combattere efficacemente la
crisi climatica.
L’e-car (eledctric car)viene presentata come un grande successo nella lotta per il
clima. Però per l’estrazione del litio, necessario per le batterie delle
e-car, si distruggono aree naturali in Bolivia e Cile, ma anche in
Portogallo e Spagna. L’Afghanistan è uno dei paesi con le più grandi
riserve di litio, e anche lì le aree naturali vengono saccheggiate per
l’estrazione del litio. Inoltre, il consumo di elettricità aumenta con
ogni e-car. A causa dei ritardi nello sviluppo delle
fonti di energia rinnovabili, molte e-car probabilmente funzioneranno
con elettricità da lignite, inoltre l’e-car garantirà anche che le
autostrade continuino ad essere ampliate. Oetelshofen estrae calce, ad
esempio per la produzione di asfalto.
Una parte della foresta di Osterholz è occupata dal 15 agosto 2019.
Nel maggio 2021, la società che lavora a Oetelshofen ha ottenuto
il permesso per lo sgombero, quindi l’Osterholz è sotto minacciata
dal’1 di Ottobre, perché da quel giorno inizia la stagione di taglio degli alberi e lo sgombero è permesso. Sono
ancora in corso discussioni e cause legali, ma l’esito è incerto.
Quello che sappiamo è che difenderemo la foresta!
Mentre alcune persone resteranno a Osterholz a Wuppertal e Haan per
difendere questa bella foresta contro le motoseghe della società
Oetelshofen, altri andranno a Lützerath per difendere questo bel posto
contro le scavatrici della RWE. Lützerath è un altro villaggio del
Reinland che sta per essere distrutto per i profitti di una grande
corporazione internazionale. Altri 650 milioni di tonnellate di
lignite saranno bruciati. Questo alimenterebbe ulteriormente la
catastrofe climatica!
La foresta di Osterholz è stata disboscata per decenni con la tattica
del “salame”. Questo significa che sempre più spesso solo piccoli pezzi
di foresta vengono distrutti per poter sostenere di volta in volta che si tratta solo di
un piccolo pezzo. Anche se fosse un solo albero che vogliono tagliare,
per noi è uno di troppo. Va notato che uno dei maggiori clienti per la
calce di Oetelshofen è l’RWE. L’azienda che vuole anche scavare
Lützerath. Oltre all’industria dell’asfalto, uno dei maggiori clienti
di Oetelshofen è ThyssenKrupp, il quarto produttore di armi della
Germania (status nel 2018). Secondo il SIPRI, ThyssenKrupp ha
guadagnato 1170 milioni di dollari nel 2016 solo dagli hardware
militari.
Noi ci “aggrappiamo”, ogni albero conta! Difendi le foreste, difendi
Lützerath, attacca gli assassini del clima!

Imagine there is a so-called climate election and none of the parties have a program with which the Paris 1.5 degree target can be achieved. This is exactly the case. Since we have nothing good to expect from this political circus in Berlin in relation to the climate issue, we have to stick to the fact that climate protection is handwork!
Capitalism is destroying our livelihood. Be it because profit logic wants to sacrifice forests for its overburden, or it expropriates the homes of entire village communities in order to dredge them away for lignite later. The political clowns in Düsseldorf, Berlin and elsewhere talk about climate protection, but in the meantime the destruction continues. What comes out of the parliaments is “too little, too late”. This should not surprise anyone, because the parties would never admit that they would have to abandon capitalism in order to effectively fight the climate crisis.
The e-car is being presented as a great success in the struggle for the climate. For the mining of lithium, which is needed for the batteries of e-cars, natural areas are destroyed, among others in Bolivia and Chile, but also in Portugal and Spain. Afghanistan is one of the countries with the largest lithium reserves, and natural areas there are also to be destroyed for the mining of lithium. In addition, the electricity consumption increases with each e-car. Due to the years of slowing down the development of renewable energy sources, many e-cars are likely to run on electricity from lignite, and the e-car will also ensure that highways continue to be expanded. Oetelshofen mines lime, e.g. for the production of asphalt.
A part of the Osterholz forest is occupied since August 15, 2019. In May 2021, the company Oetelshofen has been able to obtain a clearing permit, so the Osterholz is under acute threat from 01 October, because from that day clearing is allowed. Still discussions and lawsuits are in progress, but the outcome is uncertain. What we do know is that we will defend the forest!
While some people will stay in Osterholz in Wuppertal and Haan to defend this beautiful forest against the chainsaws of the Oetelshofen company, others will travel to Lützerath to defend this beautiful place against the excavators of RWE. Lützerath is another village in the Reinland that is to be destroyed for the profits of a major international corporation. Another 650 million tons of brown coal are to be burned. This would further fuel the climate catastrophe!
The Osterholz forest has been cleared for decades with salami tactics. This means that again and again only small pieces of the forest are destroyed in order to argue that it is only a small piece. Even if it was only one tree they wanted to cut, it would be one too many. It should be noted that one of the major customers for the lime from Oetelshofen is RWE. The company that also wants to excavate Lützerath. Apart from the asphalt industry, one of Oetelshofen’s biggest customers is ThyssenKrupp, Germany’s fourth-largest arms manufacturer (status in 2018).According to SIPRI, ThyssenKrupp earned $1170 million in 2016 from military hardware alone.
