La narrazione dei mass media della pandemia Covid-19 continua a raccontarci di inevitabili sacrifici, inevitabili limitazioni della libertà, di obblighi morali a farsi vaccinare, di divisioni in cittadini di serie A
e serie B per limitare un contagio che non accenna invece a diminuire. E mentre la popolazione subisce le imposizioni di governanti e industria del farmaco, accadono fatti inquietanti, non taciuti del tutto dai mass media ma neanche analizzati per quelli che sono, cioè un colpevole stimolo alla diffusione di nuove epidemie. Se a parole le opere dei governi mirano a una vittoria nella guerra contro quello che è stato ritratto come un malefico virus, nei fatti lo stato crea i presupposti per nuove epidemie, nuovi ceppi virali e nuovi salti di specie. Tra Dicembre e Gennaio gli allevamenti di diversi paesi nel mondo sono stati colpiti da epidemie di influenza aviaria e influenza suina (1) (2) (7).
Queste epidemie sono sempre più diffuse negli allevamenti, l’attuale influenza aviaria è infatti definita come la peggiore di sempre. Gli allevamento per motivi di profitto tendono ad essere sempre più grandi e ad alta densità, nonostante il greenwashing mass mediatico che ci racconta di galline allevate a terra e allevamenti spaziosi e felici. Gli allevamenti intensivi per poter essere economicamente profittevoli non possono essere ne spaziosi, ne salubri, e per combattere le epidemie che minacciano i profitti le individux reclusx sono preventivamente imbottitx di antibiotici e altri farmaci. Ovviamente questo non basta, i virus mutano e si diffondono comunque molto velocemente.
Invece di abolire o quanto meno porre un freno a queste pratiche capitalistiche di sfruttamento dei corpi e delle vite di esseri animali, lo stato le incentiva tramite detassazione, finanziamenti, legislazioni farevoli e altre agevolazioni. Ma quello che in questo periodo risulta essere in netta contraddizione con i pomposi proclami governativi di voler combattere l’epidemia di Covid-19 sono i risarcimenti statali per gli allevamenti colpiti dall’influenza (3).
Oltre a creare un pericolo per le vite degli esseri animali che pagano per primi e in prima persona, e per la vita dei popoli umani del mondo intero, gli allevatori vengono aiutati e premiati. Le reclusx vengono preventivamente uccisx in massa, in Italia a Dicembre sono stati uccisi 13 milioni di tacchini e polli, e invece di attribuire le responsabilità ai colpevoli come al solito vengono individuati dei capri espiatori, come ad esempi i cinghiali selvatici nel caso dell’influenza suina, contro i quali viene aizzato il sadismo vendicatore degli stati che stanno legiferando per un loro massacro indiscriminato. Non potendo colpevolizzare un’industria capitalista si attacca chi colpe ne ha ben poche, il mondo selvatico.
Per quanto riguarda la pericolosità di una nuova pandemia umana il pericolo di un nuovo salto di specie non è così remoto, come dimostrano fatti del passato più o meno recente come ad esempio il mese scorso in Inghilterra dove un uomo si è infettato con il virus H5N1 (influenza aviaria) (4), o in altri paesi nel corso degli anni.
Il salto di specie finora è stato limitato dall’assenza di contagiosità tra uomini, ma persino gli enti governativi hanno valutato questi eventi occasionali preoccupanti e pericolosi (5).
Dopo l’esperienza attuale della pandemia Covid-19 queste preoccupazioni dovrebbero essere tenute in maggiore considerazione e invece ciò non accade. Ci si preoccupa per i cigni della regina d’Inghilterra (6), per i poveri allevatori colpiti economicamente, ma evidentemente non per il resto degli abitanti del pianeta. Come hanno dimostrato due anni di provvedimenti urgenti dei governi di tutto il mondo il profitto viene prima di tutto, prima delle vite delle persone, degli animali e del pianeta. Una pandemia che causa milioni di morti dovrebbe come primo passo portare a compiere tutte le azioni necessarie a evitare che quello che è successo si ripeta, e invece qual’è stata la risposta di stati, padroni e capitale? La creazione di nuovi redditizi farmaci, l’obbligo al loro utilizzo e la limitazioni delle libertà personali. Il risultato? Nuovi malati, nuovi morti e nuovi profitti.

The media narrative of the Covid-19 pandemic continues to tell us of inevitable sacrifices, inevitable limitations of freedom, of moral obligations to be vaccinated, the need of a division into Serie A citizens
and Serie B in order to limit the infection that shows no sign of slowdown. And while the population is subjected to the impositions of rulers and the pharmaceutical industry, disturbing facts are taking place, not completely silenced by the mass media but not even analyzed for what they are, that is, a guilty stimulus to new epidemics.
Governments declare their aim is the victory against what has been portrayed as an evil virus, but in fact States create the conditions for new epidemics and new spillovers. Between December and January, farms in various countries around the world were affected by outbreaks of avian flu and swine flu (1) (2) (7).
These epidemics are increasingly widespread on farms, the current avian flu is in fact defined as the worst ever. Farms tend to be larger and more densely populated, despite the mass media greenwashing that tells us about free-range hens and spacious and happy farms. Intensive farming, in order to be economically profitable, cannot be spacious or healthy, and to fight the epidemics that threaten profits the prisoned individuals are preemptively stuffed with antibiotics and other drugs. Obviously this is not enough, viruses mutate and spread very quickly anyway.
Instead of abolishing or at least putting a limit to these capitalist practices of exploiting the bodies and lives of animal beings, the state encourages them through tax reductions, financing, easy legislation and other concessions. But what in this period appears to be in clear contradiction with the pompous government proclamations of fighting the Covid-19 epidemic are the money compensations given to farms affected by the flu (3).
In addition to creating a danger for the lives of animal beings who pay first and foremost, and for the lives of human peoples of the whole world, farmers are helped and rewarded. The prisoners are massively killed, in the month of December 13 million turkeys and chickens were killed in Italy, and instead of blaming the guilty as usual, scapegoats are identified, such as wild boars in the case of swine flu, and the avenging sadism of the States is legislating for their indiscriminate massacre. Not being able to blame a capitalist industry, they attack those who have no guilt, the wild world.
The danger of a new human pandemic and the danger of a new spillover is not so remote, as evidenced by facts such as last month in England where a man was infected with the H5N1 virus. (bird flu) (4), or in other countries over the years.
The spillover so far has been limited by the absence of contagiousness among humans, but even government agencies have rated these occasional events as worrying and dangerous (5).
After the current experience of the Covid-19 pandemic these concerns should be taken into greater consideration but this is not happening. There is concern for the swans of the Queen of England (6), for the poor farmers affected economically, but not for the rest of the inhabitants of the planet. As shown by two years of urgent acts of governments around the world, profit comes first, before the lives of people, animals and the planet. A pandemic that causes millions of deaths should as a first step lead to take all the necessary actions to prevent from happening again, and instead what was the response of states, masters and capitalists? The creation of new profitable drugs, the obligation to use them and the limitations of personal freedoms. The result? New sick people, new deaths and new profits.
